Creating a platform for Sri Lankan Tamil Artists to showcase their Talents

Shobhanam Creations is a Sydney-based film and theatre company that has been nurturing and promoting local talent in Australia since 2000 to 2020.

Our mission is to identify and bring out the inherent talents within the Tamil community. Our vision is to produce high quality play, short films and feature films focusing on unique Sri Lankan Tamil culture and dialect. Shobhanam Creations is also keen to focus on cultural issues faced by recent migration due to the ethnic issues in Sri Lanka.

Our goal is to engage cooperatively with Sri Lankan artists to provide a venue for distinct art forms of Sri Lankan Tamils.
