An oncologist by profession, Jayamohan is passionate about Tamil art forms. He is trained in Carnatic Flute, playwright and a director. He has written over 40 plays. Many of his plays were broadcast in the 70’s and 80’s by Sri Lankan broadcasting corporations. Since moving to Australia, he has produced and directed over 36 plays.
His iconic work includes the comedy drama series called “Laughing O Laughing!” This had been a successful production and had been staged widely winning multiple accolades internationally. They were staged in various cities including Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane. The plays were well received by the audience.
Recently he has started directing short films, which have been praised by viewers and have reached over 50,000 views on YouTube and more.
Following the success of short films currently two feature films are in post production.
All of our projects have been a huge success due to the enthusiastic involvement of our wonderful team members. They put their passion into their work and this is shown by the final quality of the productions.
We consider our first short films to be our greatest achievements because they allowed us to reach a larger audience and gave us the confidence to do more great work in the future.
